The colourful palette of Alfred Krenz – Ellen Davis-Mesmen

The life and work of artist Alfred Krenz – in Austria, Holland and South Africa – The first 4 chapters deal with the artist’s life, his early years in Austria and subsequent move to Holland and later to South Africa. This part contains many photographs of the artist’s personal life, interspersed by colour photographs of his work. Chapter 5 deals solely with the development of Krenz as an artist. This chapter contains sub-headings, each part dealing with a particular aspect of his oevre. The book is well illustrated and many of the paintings are accompanied by a critical description.
