"The kind of bookshop where you go to find the book you didn't know you needed. An absolute must-see if you're in Hermanus for any length of time, but beware: once you walk in you'll not emerge for quite some time as it's an absolute book lover's wonderland! The new owners are absolutely lovely and made us feel welcome straightaway, ready to help us or let us wander at our leisure. All the sections were clearly defined, but still with that homey secondhand bookshop feel. I left with an armful of books, but the wander through and chat with the owners was well worth it on its own =) And be sure to sign the guest book!"

"We made a family trip to South Africa, and I tried hard to surprise each of our kids I brought my daughter (bookworm with a special passion for books and classics) to this place. She nearly cried, and she didn't want to leave (16 yo just saying! ) Thanks to the owner of this lovely bookshop for the magic she spread through the shop, the books. We will definitely come again as we surely didn't have much time. If only I could give a 10 stars, I would! A visit is highly recommended!"
