Rock-Paintings in South Africa is a 1930 book featuring copies of rock art made by George William Stow between 1867 and 1882 in the Eastern Province and Orange Free State. It was compiled and published after his death by Dorothea F. Bleek, who wrote the introduction and descriptive notes. The book contains reproductions of 74 of Stow’s cartoons, which he created while on geological and trading expeditions across the regions, documenting the art of the Bushmen (San people).
