Songs of Innocence Book by William Blake

Blake’s Songs of Innocence is focused on children and uses imagery to associate children with purity and innocence. Songs of Experience focus on the more terrifying side of nature. In these poems, innocence is corrupted by the intrusion of outside forces such as the church and society.
